About the Program
The world is accelerating towards a state of complete automation, by state-of-the-art intelligent devices/robots, influencing multidimensional domains of human activity. Self driven driverless cars/truck, Auto Piloted Planes, Curiosity Rover traversing the length and width of Mars surface, Auto Controlled Fission processes/ Power Production in Nuclear Reactors, Hypersonic Missile Control Systems, etc define the new era of automation.
Artificial Intelligence has already started new revolution in robotics advancements with its integration with pattern recognition. Its further coupling with Big Data Analysis, Internet of Things (IOT), 3D printing aggregate technologies and Holography are making machines/ systems to be intelligent, creative, cost effective and highly efficient, leading to 4th industrial revolution, known as “Industry 4.0”.
The current course B.Voc in Robotics & Automation, is aligned with NSQF guidelines in Dual Vocational Education System at HVSU in association with JBM Group is an interdisciplinary program including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and others. Robotics and Automation deal with design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback and information processing.
